Music producers and writers for popular artists and mainstream studios are often referred to as “ghost writers”. In the teachings of Catholicism and Christianity, the Holy Spirit is often referred as the “Holy Ghost”. If you know Noy Sauce pretty well, I often make corny jokes to bring a smile to peoples’ faces. To combine the gifts I was blessed with in writing sharings and making corny jokes, I created an extension of the Noy Sauce blog called the Sharings from a Holy Ghost Writer. For about four years, I have been anonymously writing sharings based on scripture readings for a prayer group community I was a part of. The countless hours dedicated to deep thought, reflection, sharing, and writing, gave me the confidence to start the Noy Sauce blog. Those times reading, writing, revising, googling, revising some more, and writing some more, developed the passion and purpose to write for people. To continue the Noy Sauce blog’s goal of inspiring others to be better versions of themselves through storytelling, but with a Catholic twist to it, I made this extension. Enjoy!

Tribute to My Father
Today is the 15th anniversary of my father’s death. It seemed like a distant yesterday that he was here, making jokes and pushing me to do my best in school. In remembrance of him, I attended mass, and prayed for him and my friends and family afterward. Since this time is around the halfway mark…
We Only Have the Right to Use Our Gifts
(The cover photo is the Sacred Heart of Jesus shrine in Roxas City, Capiz, Philippines. The giant statue sits atop a hill and is a landmark for people to visit. I was fortunate to visit the statue earlier this year during my trip to the Philippines.) He said, ‘Master, you gave me five talents. See,…
